ist DS

Hello all, I have enjoyed my ist DS from the time they were first released in the UK and it has had very little use in that time and it has been stored away when not used in a camera bag in a draw. I used it last week ok and today when I tried take a picture i get what can only be explained as a random sequence of colours, a rainbow in meltdown. The image is shown on the screen when being stored and sure enough it is the same on the memory card when I view it back on a PC. I have tried new batteries, new memory card, different lenses, (and no lense), the mirror is moving back and forth to complete the SLR function. I have tried all settings, including auto everything, it just appears to be dead. Anything i've missed before I cry into a beer? Thanks, Simon

Just put it back in the draw and buy a K3.
