tamron 70-300 or 200mm f3.5 manual

Hi .. I have
TAMRON 70-300mm f4-5.6 di ld macro FOR My CANON EOS 1100D
which I think not sharp and already stuk aperture ( cable is broken so I set it to wild open ) so I thinking about sell it for 200mm f3.5 manual like
PETRA 200MM F3.5
VIVITAR series 1 lenses or even
VIVITAR 85-205MM F3.8
VIVITAR 70-210 F4.5
which I found in ebay or other market in India . No one is canon ef mount , but I will manage to make mount ( I already build a mount for SMC PENTAX-M 50mm 1.7 with the help of adopter )
My question is these manual lenses have better IQ , sharpness , and low CA than my TAMRON ?
(very sorry for my English)

It would depend on which 200f/3.5 you use. The Tamron is fairly sharp for the price but not great at the 300mm end. Also it is prone to purple fringe CA in bright light.

A good 200f/3.5 would be better. My Takumar 200f/3.5 is sharper and better CA-wise than my Tamron and better colors and rendering.

I don't know the lenses you list, but I have an old Soligor 80-200f/4.5 which is fairly good ito sharpness and CA. It renders color and OoF area well to. You can look at for some other users direct comparisons of Vivitar 200f/3.5 with Tamron.

So in answer to your question, these lenses could give you as good and better than Tamron, but with manual focus and aperture control. You would need to get advice on a particular model.

Not necessarily better. I bought an old F3.5 200mm vivitar and it's awful. 70-300 is supposed to be a capable lens, I think better than the oldest crop of 200mm F3.5 from third parties, but worse than newer constructions from name brands. Tamron will be a lot more convenient to use with autofocus and is likely to be lighter.
