Spinning rewidn crank - Spotmatic

Hi everybody, I may just be paranoid but I think I am having some issues with the rewind crank on my Spotmatic F. Ive realized that my rewind crank on the left of the camera does not fully lock down when I am not rewinding. This means that it has been spinning, and I am not sure if this has ruined my roll of film. Should I worry? Can I fix this?

Edit: Sorry, about the awful typo in the title

The rewind lever always turns with the film spool. Pressing the rewind button on the bottom only disengages the pickup spool from the advance mechanism.

Ah, so it is more than likely that my current roll is done for?

No, as long as the film was inserted properly in the take-up spool and the sprockets engaged and the back closed, it'll be fine.

No, it is supposed to do that. The rewind lever should turn counter-clockwise when the film is wound as an indication that the film is actually winding!
