I've downloaded the latest version v.1.02 and followed the instructions, copying file to an 8GB card etc. However I seem to be stuck in a loop - the firmware needs at least an 8gb card to update the camera but the only 8gb cards are SDHC, and my old Pentax won't read SDHC cards until I install the latest firmware. I'm obviously missing something here, can anyone point me in the right direction. Thank you.
The card needs to be at least 8Mb, not 8Gb. I read somewhere that if you format the card to a partition under 2Gb, the camera should recognize it anyway.
Otherwise, just get a normal SD 2Gb or smaller and you should be good to go.
