Black & White

Hi I am a newby to the forum and have a problem with my K200D. For some reason when I set me camera on Sv, Tv, Av or M mode the photos revert to black and white. I have had a read in my manual etc but cannot seem to find out why so hence me question to you, the experts. Cheers Bernhard

Are you sure you don't have your digital filter set to B&W?
In the Scene modes those filters will be cancelled out, but in the manual/semi-automatic modes they will visible in playback.

Just a thought; I've never owned that model

Thanks for that suggestion but that does not look like it is the problem. The Black & White filter, along with some other ones can only be used to edit a photo. There is nowhere, I can see, where this can be set to a permanent setting. In all the other modes color is fine.

Your post got me thinking more and I delved deeper into my instruction manual and hey presto the problem has been fixed thanks to your comment re digital filter. Now back to how it was so thanks very much
