WG-3 Can I replace the lens cover?

Hello,

I'm very pleased with the quality of my macro shots with my WG-3 camera

. I've had it just over a year, but recently I've found that it has quite a difficult time focusing on close objects. The glass over the lens (which I'm assuming is a cover), now has quite a few fine scratches through wear and tear. I want to know if I can replace this part. I see that there are screws around it, but I can't seem to find anywhere online that says this is possible or any places where I could buy one if it is.

Any advise would be appreciated!

A service center can replace it for you. The part is otherwise not available and not designed to be a DIY project, as it would void the warranty.

Would you happen know where the closest service centre is to Bristol, UK? I've tried Googling it, but I haven't had much luck!
