ZombieArmy I had a similar problem ( Spots coming and going on K20D sensor ) and what stymied me was that there were spots and dust and whatever on one photo and the next day it was gone, bit that was coupled to the F stop. I removed most of it with a brush, but the lollipop made it like new.
