K30 cleaning

Sorry if this is in the wrong section

im still relatively new when it comes to the mechanics of my K30, any help would be greatly appreciated.

When I look into the camera a small (what looks like a piece of grass) sits in the image bottom right.

The grass shard does not show up on my images, when I take off the lens I can see the shard inside the camera body.

Should I take this to get the sensor cleaned or ?

Thank you in advance

Try a blower first (https://www.google.ca/webhp?sourceid=chrome-instant&ion=1&espv=2&ie=UTF-8#q=camera%20blower)
Usually really economical and safe. Take off your lens and make sure you aren't touching anything inside the body. Has cleaned my sensor when needed...

It sounds like there's something on the focusing screen. Definitely try a blower (not compressed air) to get rid of it.

If you see it in the viewfinder and not on your images, the grass is on the focus screen. A rocket-type blower is a good option to remove it. Take care to not touch the focus screen. It is quite easily scratched.
