Pentax K5 Battery Grip Button Replacement

Either terrible manufacturing or just unlucky...bought through ebay for 55 usd and lasted only a couple months with very light usage before the iso and exposure button fell off. Anyone know where I can buy a new one!?!?

Is this a genuine grip or a third party clone? The 3rd party ones look similar but have more issues or so I hear.
For the clones probably no parts available.
For the genuine Pentax grip you could send it in , but I suspect a fix will be more than just buying another used one.

Hi! Welcome to the Pentax Forums!

If you bought it on eBay for that low a price, I guess it is safe to assume that it is a third-party grip and not original Pentax. If the grip was purchased new and is third-party, you may want to contact the seller for warranty replacement. If it was purchased new and is Pentax-brand, you should contact Ricoh for service or replacement. If it was purchased used, buying another one might be your best bet. The Bower grip at B&H has a three-year warranty at $82 USD, but from the tone of some of the reviews you would probably get to use the warranty.

Thanks for the advise and yes it was new when i bought it. Made from china so definitely third party I'll have to avoid this product.

Buttons just fell right off when i was shooting on a tripod, sadly. I tried putting it back on but just comes right off. Apparently i lost my one other button so i need to find a replacement one. Maybe i can use something similar like a button to simulate it to be a artificial one.
