SMC-M 50mm f/1.7 nameplate loose?

Hi all,
I've noticed this on my trusty 50mm f/1.7... the nameplate ring has gained some play recently, and it's a little loose...
I can tighten it a little bit with my fingers, applying pressure, but not much...
Is there a tool to be used in order to screw it back into place?
All of the focus barrel (is that the correct term?) feels loose, actually, but lens elements seem to be solidly in place...
IQ is same as always, so it's not a big deal ATM...
Thanks in advance.

do you mean the name-ring holding the front-glass element? If it is, you can tighten it with a cheap rubber stopper (for wash sink).

...I see, there's a really high-tech tool for that!
Thanks all for your suggestions!

Go to a homebrew store and get a size 9 carboy stopper. That's the one you will need for a 49mm filter thread lens.
...I'll try... wonder if here in Italy we use the same diameters you have in America for carboys... you know... metric, imperial...

According to this page, the European equivalent would be a "45D," which makes sense if it means 45mm diameter.

Also, looking at your original message, if parts of the barrel feel loose, you will probably have to tighten some screws inside after removing the name ring. These are small JIS-type screws, so make sure you have the right screwdriver. Micro-tools Europe sells a very nice Moody's Pollicis JIS mini set for €18.75.
Will do, thanks!
