How about a circular polarizer? I was also going to say an ND filter, but TaoMaas beat me to it.

Is your monitor calibrated? If not, a ColorMunki Smile can be had for less than $100.

Or an Eyefi wireless SD card, Lensbaby, Lightroom preset packs, and of course a B&H or Adorama gift card.

Don't know if you own one already (probably do) but I'm another one for a cool bag...

I feel kind of bad about abandoning this thread! Anyway...

I like the polarizer/ND filter idea. Can you recommend any brands? I'd have bought ones myself already, but I was really lazy about doing research.

It would be nice to have a remote for my camera. Can you recommend one?

It would also be really nice to get started on a basic studio setup. I sew my own clothes, and it would be nice to take decent pictures of them without having to wait for a nice day and competent photographer. Is there any basic lighting gear that I could get?

I picked up one of the Black Rapid camera straps and I really like it. I am going to add another style soon.

How about a annual subscription to your favourite photography magazine, then your xmas present lasts all year.

With what's left... put a credit on your favourite coffee house card, all good photographers need coffee to contemplate their next shot or as refreshment during the current shoot.

That's an even better suggestion if someone doesn't already have one. A polarizing filter can act as an ND filter.
