Hello folks

i am interested in buying pentax k-5 ii S. I see, adorama is offering body only for 490$, in my country, i can buy this body for 730Euro! omg, huge difference.

Could someone suggest eshop within Europe? Shipping from US is expensive, and there are additional costs

Any experience where are you buying pentax gear in Eu?

I used this site in the past. The manual were in French. Never needed customer service though...
Amazon.de maybe for proximity shipping costs will be smaller...

i must admit that i am very interested in sony a6000 and also OM-D too

great cameras. But because i already have pentax lenses, i will probably buy k-5. Will check mentioned sites for prizes

K5IIs body for 730 euros? Here is 886 euros on sale. Normal price was 1081.

They have a Pentax in-store event this Saturday 6th December. Might be some good deals available on-line too. Currently the K5IIs is £599 which is around 760 euro.

Frankly, I'm rather disappointed by disparity in prices between EU and USA. I don't know whether there are additional taxes/fees to pay on top of what is advertised in the USA, but the difference between 780 USD (~630 EUR) and 1000 EUR (lowest new on fleabay) or 1150 EUR (lowest new in a web-store) for a FA31 is really huge.
Seeing all those deals on FA31/K50/Q/Q10/younameit while prices here stay steady is, well, beneficial for my finances as I just wouldn't feel good paying so fat of a premium for anything just on account of living in EU.

In the Philippines (where Pentax are made), a bare K5IIs body is $800. A K3 body is $1,025.

Vietnam is a spitting distance and an FA 31 is $1,400 and an FA43 is $960. I don't, and can't understand why.

k5 iis from adorama even with shipping is for 500eur. Then of course additional fees here for buying outside EU

Hi, nice to see somebody from Slovakia again. I've got my K-3 fairly recently, and truth to be said, since I was buying in bundle, it was cheaper to take it from B&H, even shipping and taxes taken into account.
