How to shoot and hold Pentax 67?

The question seem to be weird but it is.

1. I have Pentax 67 with wooden grip. Well without the grip is fine but with the grip IS problem.

It's uncomfortable to use the grip but I can feel the steadiness when I use the grip. Is there any handling for this grip?

2. This camera has focusing screen without split thing. It's really hard to focus unless I shoot in day light. Any tip or advice for focusing?

extra: Do I need to replace the shutter box like DSLR do? I mean what is the life cycle for Pentax 67 shutter?
