Typically bouncing over exposes, in auto mode anyway

Bouncing was always challenging with my K5. I think it is a matter of practice. One should make adjustments using the flash compensation, especially if you can tell it is the flash causing the over-exposure (and not the ambient exposure).

I get very good results bouncing flash with my ancient auto thyristor sunpak. The fact that the flash unit measures the light returning to the sensor means that the exposure is good nearly every time.
