Help with Yongnuo Flash Trigger

I bought a Yongnuo YN560IV flash, and a Yongnuo RF-603C trigger, and cannot get the trigger mounted in the hot shoe of the camera to trigger the flash.

I set both the flash and the trigger to the same channel (and tried several different channels).
I mounted the trigger to the camera hot shoe and turned it on.
I set the flash to rx mode, Identified the trigger as an "Rf 60 3"
The right green light on the trigger is lit. The left light is not.
I have no idea what the "Gr" option does. I've set it to C, C1, C2, C3 - doesn't seem to make any difference.
Pressing the shutter does not trigger the flash.

Any help or suggestions appreciated.

I was investigating these triggers too and I found this video that says 603c version 1 does not work with Pentax but 603n ii and 603c ii (version 2) works with Pentax. I think I will buy 603n ii

Did you put the flash in wireless mode?

No need unless you're triggering optically.

You're correct version 1 doesn't work with Pentax.

The n and c II are the same triggers the difference is the shutter cable. Buy the C version to get the shutter cable that works with Pentax. They work fine on my K30.
