K-50 works no more with manual lenses

Hello guys,
My K-50 worked with Pentax M and A manual lenses and a Cosinon S. I purchased a old RMC Tokina 80-200 mm f4, it seemed to mount on the camera with no apparent issues, released the shutter once, seemed ok, but after that not one of my manual lenses allows me to release the shutter. What happened? Did it damage the camera somehow?

Easy thing to miss: Is the focus mode set to AF-S/AF-C?

If so, the shutter will not release unless focus is locked (green hexagon in bottom of VF is illuminated). This usually comes up in the focus trap or CIF questions)

it will still work in those ither AF modes, Catch In Focus can be quite a useful tool - glad it was nothing serious.
