K5 Broken Raw Files

Hello,

Im shooting timelapse raw files with my k5 and have been noticing about one out of 200 shots turning out glitchy. (see attached photos)

Any ideas on what could be causing this.

Thanks,

Deon

Is there any potential electrical interference near the camera?

SD card would be my first suspect.
What are you using, and has it been formatted in camera?

Thanks for the reply's.

Yes, I same SD card. I could try another card.

Also the camera is sitting on top of a timelapse motion control device.

The Motion control device is called Syrp Genie

Yeah, that looks like classic corruption due to bad sectors on an SD card.

Right on. Running another timelapse of the same scene today with a new card. Will see if that takes care of it.

Aye as others have suggested, I think it's time to ditch that card and move on.

I had something similar happen when I accidentally deleted an image in Aperture before the download was complete.
