pentax k 30 troubleshooting

i have been using pentax k 30 since one year , off late i have been noticing the vibrations and some noise while i turn it on or off. is it normal with the camera or shall i take it to the service center for troubleshooting the problem?

I think you accidently turned on the Dustremoval on your sensor which you can deactivate in the menu if you like to. Go to the menu. On the last page (not the ones where you can choose actions for different stuff) you will find the dustremoval setting. If you turn it off the camera wont do that anymore. But there's nothing bad about it

If it is on leave it on.

Agreed. Anything that can help keeping dust off your sensor is a good thing.

I would see if it is on (dust removal) and turn it off to see if in fact that is the issue. If it is then you can turn it on an rest easy that there will be less dust on the sensor. BUT if it does not resolve the issue you know to keep searching for the reason.

Yeah good idea to keep dust removal on always. But it works only when turn camera on, when turning off it do nothing, atleast my k30 is like this.

You must not have it set to work when you turn off your K-30. I do have mine set to work when I turn it on and when I turn it off.
