Hey everybody new to the forum. Here is my question, I'm looking for an eyecup magnifier fo a K50 curious if all K models including the K50 and K1000 all have the same size eyecup fitting Thanks in advance.

The Pentax-K series bodies (including the K-1000) share the same eyepiece as earlier M42 screwmount bodies such as the Spotmatic. The eyepiece size was changed in the late 1970s with the introduction of the M-series bodies and remains unchanged to this day. As a result, the K1000 and K-50 do not generally share eyepiece accessories. What fits the K1000 will be too small for the K-50.

If you are needing a good magnifier for your K-50, the standard answer on this site is the Pentax Magnifier Eyecup O-ME53.

Pentax K 50 Eyepiece

Thanks for your response Steve, this helps quite a bit, I kind of figured the K1000-K 50 was not good because I took the eyepiece cover off my K50 and tried in on one of my K1000's and it was a bit loose but this really doesn't matter, I really just want to find a magnifier that will fit my K50. I am looking at a Bresson 1.1x-1.6x Zoom Viewfinder Eyepiece Magnifier and the seller says it will fit a Pentax K50 even though it is not included in their listing of K100D(S), K200D(S), K10D, K20D, KM, KX, KR, K5,K-7, K-30*istD(L) (2) (S) so if I am getting what you are saying if the eyepiece fits the listed cameras it will also fit the K50, correct? Do you are anyone else out there have any knowledge or have this Bresson eypiece? It sounds good in the description but that is all I have to go on. I can buy one from China on EBay for 32.31.

Yes...with the exception of the K1000, every Pentax camera made since the release of the M-series bodies (late 1970s) has had the same size viewfinder frame.

The Magnifier M will fit loosely on the K1000. Loose enough that It may fall off if the camera is inverted. It fits snugly on my K10D as does the Refconverter M.

There are 3rd party magnifiers that come with adapters for the various camera brands. Reviews tend to fault the adapters/attachment as loose or flimsy.
