Pentax K20D Sticking Shutter

Hi all,

I am having problems with my Pentax K20D with, what I think, is a sticking shutter.

Lately the first photo is always black. At times this goes on for up to three "exposures". After the black photos everything is OK until the next time I get the camera out. It is used at least once a week, so fairly regularly. It happens with different lenses, so is a camera problem.

Is there any quick fix that anyone knows of or what do you think it would coast to fix - and from where??

I am looking longingly at the K3 II but the K20D is a marvellous camera (most of the time).

Hoping for some information.

All the best,
