shutter trigger trouble

I helped with a Bioblitz this weekend. Saturday Rain. Lots of rain. When it started I swapped from the FA100 macro to my 18-135. The second day was sunny so back to the FA. But I had some strange trigger behavior. Upon first turning the camera on, it would work OK then stop. Back button or half press trigger focused fine. I had to turn the camera off and on to get reset the trigger. Very concerning. I'm drying the camera as best I can. I will bring it to work if we have a dessication chamber big enough.

Any thoughts? I'll test again tonight to see how it works. I'd prefer not to use this as an excuse to buy a K3II....

Works fine now, hammers away with no problem. The horse keeps running.
