K-50 batteries

Does anyone know of any brick and mortar stores that carry the battery or the AA adapter?

other than adorama or b&h? not really. I do most of my ordering through amazon, and adorama is one of the vendors through there anyway.

I got the adapter on Amazon (or maybe eBay) for like $10. Works like a charm.

AA adapter? If you have it grab a few sets of lithium aa non-rechargeables as backup.

Where do you live? If there is a Pentax dealer near you, that would be the first place to call.

Steve

(...yes, they do exist...I have at one less than 20 miles away down the freeway...)

In a short each camera was in the red after a 12 hour session at the wedding. extended the time by constantly shutting the cams off when pictures were not being taken. like walking/running from point A to point B. We made it though. Both cameras made it through the entire thing and would still take pics long enough to get night shots of the face of the venue.

We were on our feet for the longest time I can remember in a really long time. Was fine until the hour long drive home. Getting out of the car felt like standing on knives. The following day was no picnic getting out of bed but once walking around again it was good.

The pictures are so far a hit. Only gave them about 10 to hold them over until I can stare at lightroom. Almost 2k shots total. Was a blast. Was hard to avoid having fun.

Will be ordering another set of batteries Monday
I only test my luck once lol.
