A 35mm block gauge and he service adjustment software is needed to adjust the SR module.
I stand corrected, proof on the K10 that you need a gauge to align the SR-CCD..wait, I though these had a CMOS? :-) The glue is most likely for the SR function so as not to vibrate the assembly loose. Thats about the same amount of connectors on a K-x, 5 at each corner and 2 powers to the middle. I'd still give it a shot, not worth beans as it is.
