K-10D flips image after taking picture

When I take a picture the image looks right. But as soon as i look at it after entering the library, the image is rotated to the right 90 degrees. I cant figure out how to fix it. Please help.

Are you talking about portrait (vertical) orientation or all pictures? There is a setting somewhere "save rotation info" which should be turned on which will tell the software what position the camera was in when you took the picture. (Sometimes this won't work when you are pointing straight up or down, but otherwise it should work.) It is also possible that it is set in the camera, but your library software has its own setting that is set to ignore that data so you could check that also. Some older or very basic software just doesn't rotate unless you do it manually, but anything like Lightroom or most image viewers will do it properly unless you are stripping out all the EXIF data somehow on import.

K10D flips the image

My K10D never did that, but my K30 sometimes turns the image upside down. I have never figured out why, upside down ones can be next to right side up pictures. I just except I have to invert the picture before showing to other people, post processing or archiving.
