K50 reset??

day 1. Used auto. Awesome pics.

Day 3. Ventured to Av mode to learn to play w settings. Now images are blurry and shutter is super slow. Not sure what I've done. It's even slow if I switch back to auto.

Tried shutter priority mode. Which makes pics black.

Please help. Is there a master reset somewhere ?

Yup, there's a reset option in the setup menu (3rd tab). Do you maybe have an exposure compensation dialed in, or have you changed the metering mode away from matrix? If you are still having trouble, post a sample photo illustrating the issue (using the attachment system) and we should be able to see what's wrong based on the metadata.

Samples would just be blurry pics. The shutter even in auto is super slow. This happen indoors in poor light.

Outside today it did great.

Go ahead and post one though, otherwise we can't do much but guess what the problem might be...

There is a `Reset` option and a `Reset Custom Functions` option in the menus. Select both to restore your camera back to basics except for any focus adjustments you have done which will be unaffected.

Will do. Thanks.

I've already erased the bad pics but will certainly post some if it continues.

Thank you !
