My K-01 is acting very slow

At times it takes an extra second or two to start up, and may take several seconds to view pictures.

I haven't formatted in forever, could that be the issue?

Could be, yeah. I'd try formatting the card (or using a different card) the next time it's convenient.

My K-01 behaves similarly if it's struggling for focus (very dark scene), even if it gets focus confirmation. I also have zoom in focus area which adds to the delay. I do format the SD card regularly.

Mine takes longer to boot when I change batteries as each time I pull a battery the date/time is lost. After date/time is set again, the camera starts normally.
