Lens not mounting

Hey all! I just recently bought a Pentax 6x7 and the 105 asahi lens. Unfortunately the lens refuses to mount on my body. My friend has a 67 too and my lens will mount without any issues to his, so it has to be the body I'm thinking. The lens will turn about a quarter of an inch before coming to a stop. And trust me I've put some force into it and there's no budge. Everything looks the same as my friends but I'm new to the film side of things. Does anyone have any ideas of what could be causing this? Thanks a ton

Logan

Maybe the aperture coupling chain is broken. That can let the aperture feeler get in the way. Pentax no longer has the part.

If you are in the US you can try contacting Eric Hendrickson. He repairs 6x7's.
