Hi quick and i am sure stupid question. I have tried googling it. no luck. I have a Kr and K30 and the batteries are interchangeable - I am picking up a new K3 tomorrow and I am wondering if the batteries I have will work with it.

The K-3 uses the D-Li90, whereas the K-30 uses the D-Li109.

you could probably make an adapter for the smaller battery. it all depends on how determined and cheap you are.

I would like to be called Frugal (cheap makes me sound like a person of easy virtue) Just glue 3/8" semi-hard packing foam to back of battery.
and put in your grip for K3. I only use it in the grip and works fine.( about a year so far). Had 3 of them that I couldn't use any more. I wear sun glasses with the mustache & nose attached when I'm changing in public.

that'll work if he isn't planning to keep using the k-30.
