Where to repair?

My son's pentax slr needs repair. We have no local repair services. Does anyone have experience with a repair service that is reliable and expedicious? He is going to boulder co in 2 weeks sms would love to have it for that trip. Thanks in advance.

2 weeks hardly will give time for repairs. Considering travel time (don't know where your son is located), of about a week total, leaves little time for actual repair; and if they have the parts needed. I'm assuming it's out of warranty; so you might contact KEH re/repair.

Repairs are not cheap, nor fast :-) Some new cameras are selling for low prices.

+1 on this suggestion. Considering cost of repairs, time lost; buying new makes a lot of sense, and with some specials could be less expensive. Like this sale, for instance. (Don't know if it's still going on, but may be available elsewhere).
