645z won't update

Hello,

I'm trying to update the software, and I'm following instructions, but it won't do it.

The card is formatted, and the update is on it; the battery is full as well. I turn on the power pressing menu, but nothing happens. Any advice, please?

did you extract the update or just put the download file onto the card. Is the extracted update in the correct root folder of the card?

The most likely causes are:

1. File not extracted- there should be a .BIN file on the SD card, not a .ZIP or .EXE
2. File not copied correctly- the file should be in the card root, outside of the DCIM folder
3. Wrong file- make sure you downloaded the right update
4. Firmware already at the latest version
