Hopefully we can make a list of free and paid alternatives and maybe Adam can make it a sticky.

Excellent suggestion.
Yep !

I totally agree with that.
I am also getting annoyed with repetitive glitches with Flickr .... I never know if one day things will go wrong (like today) and find it is never totally dependable.
I am subscribing to the "Pro" Flick .... I can always spend my money elsewhere.

Yeah I noticed that morning too. Looks like it is fixed now. It really it does not bother me too much. I really don't have anyone following my Flickr anway. I stopped using it years until recently.

Flickr would be fine - it is working again now - if only Yahoo! stopped interfering with it. Yahoo! decide that they want to include more Flickr images in their fancy new image search. This breaks Flickr image search. Flickr try to fix it and break everyones public photostream display ...

Checking the Flickr help forum, it looks like they acknowledged the problem right away and got it fixed about 1PM US EST (18:00 GMT).

Yup. Had amoment of panic seeing this thread, and went and found my stream intact.

I kind of miss the old-old version of flickr with the ability to notate photos and simply do two or three clicks for geotagging, but ah well. Been there since 2007 so I'm pretty entranched.

Man, I guess it really doesn't take much for folks to be ready to jump ship!!

I've been using Flickr for years and they've never screwed me on anything. In fact, I'd say service and features have done nothing but improve. I'll be on Flickr for life (if it lasts as long as I do)!

I use Flickr to host my images and post them from there, im happy with the service, idk about professionals delivering pay jobs, but it work for me. I hate photobucket (free version) the compresion they put on the images is awfull on small details. Other services like tinypic or similar while the are good (not great, just good) are very slow to upload or managing the files.

I recently adquire Office365, and i have 1tb in onedrive, i havent use it yet but some people say is good

This is literally a Fox News thread.

My page is fine, as of 23:36 GMT+1.

Well, obviously there was a problem earlier that affected many; but was fixed a while after. So no Fox news here.

Yup. It was literally the Smallest Problem on the Internet, so, of course, everyone lost their minds.
