But specifically not the 100mm f/2.8 D-FA WR macro. That is one noisy sucker, especially if your macro target is small and the background far away, and the AF can't decide which one to lock onto. Thank God for Quick Shift, which IS silent.

Personally I only use MF for macro so I wouldn't care.

Which lens will fit the new FF Body?
Are there any modern lens that will fit the up coming full frame body. I am interested in the non screw drive type.
I know plenty of the film era lenses will work.
Welcome aboard !

Hmm...how about the Pentax 1.4x TC? Surely it will work in crop mode, but will we see vignetting when using the ff mode?

i'd kill to own an fa31, imho it's world-class glass, but since i live in the real world, i'm conflicted because of this: Sigma 35mm f/1.4 DG HSM Art Lens for Pentax DSLR Cameras 340109

if pentax gets this glass oem'd from tamron, as some people out here have claimed, it'll be instant world-class status for the new pentax ff: Prepare to be impressed: Tamron 15-30 F2.8 vs. Nikon 14-24 F2.8: Digital Photography Review

ff ultra-wide zooms don't get much better than that.

So what exactly is the difference between this "spending" and someone else's investment.?
If you pay for equipment that will quickly earn you more than you paid, that's investment.
So if your return on that investment is high enough,
you shouldn't worry about the cost of the investment.

I've spent more money, and am making money using strictly APS_c, so what's the deal.
Up to now, APS-C has been your only option with K-mount digital.
