K3 manual mode ISO

I like the control M mode gives me but I would like to know how to manually change the ISO while changing both the shutter and Fstop

Thanks

Press the ISO button, spin back control wheel to desired ISO, press ISO button again.
Or do I misunderstand?

Did you want it to automatically change? If so that is TAv mode.

Just curious, how long have you had your k-3? It's been like that since the k-5 or even k-7.

I currently own K3, K5iis and was a previous owner of the K10. I guess I never took the time to look into it

It's been like that since the new body design on k-7/5/3 (departure from k10D/k20D). IMHO, it is the most convenient way to change ISO (comparing to Canikon models) without taking the eyes off the viewfinder by using index finger on ISO button and turning the rear wheel with the thumb.
