Camera and lens fog up?

You are correct. If there is no aperture ring on the lens, then aperture is Automatic as set by either you in camera manual mode/TAv/Av or by the camera in auto, etc... modes.

Okay, looks like the K30 is going in for repair. I'll wait in the hopes that a US Pentax repair center is announced alongside the new FF.
