Playback button/screen shows no display

K 200D camera worked fine. Then, playback stopped working; could not view photos on card. Now, when camera is turned on, most times the display doesn't work at all. If I open the battery compartment and "move" the batteries a little and re-close the lid, then screen display will show for Menu, Info, or FN. Buttons? Battery connections? (Fresh batteries are in the camera).....any ideas to fix? Thanks.

Does the camera let you take photos? If so it's possible that there's a loose connection inside, or just a faulty circuit.

All I can suggest is cleaning the battery terminals in camera. I have a flash gun that I had left old batteries in once. Now the battery terminals need cleaning every time I use it.

Maybe you can reset your settings. I changed mine once and could not choose focal length when using manual lenses Took me one hour to notice

If you have a manual, take a look at pages 220and 221.
You can download your manual as pdf here http://us.ricoh-imaging.com/wp-content/uploads/2015/09/k200d.pdf

Maybe you can try resetting everything and try if this works
