Weekly paying for expansive equipments

Hi I have a question about paying equipments price weekly. I heard some photographers bought equipments by paying monthly for 2 years or less. I think that's a great idea to get expansive equipments.

I'm planning to purchase K-1 and 28-105mm lens which is $2500. $23 per week and $83 per week. Well there are two options: Flexshopper and Paypal credit. I never heard those kind of programs before. Does anyone know about this?

PayPal credit is reputable.

Also with Paypal, you typically pay no interest if it's paid off within 12 months ($499 and above). Check current promotions, but it's been like that for at least a couple years or more. If you don't pay it off within the year though, you are charged all the accumulated interest.
