Contax N 24-85mm

Does anyone know if I can use the adapter for this for K-1 or not?

No. Contax N lenses are not adaptable to K-mount. An autofocusing adapter is made for Sony E-mount...

Which adapter are you referring to?

The Contax mount and the Pentax K-mount has (almost) the same register distance (distance from mount to sensor), so the adapter you talk about must either sit as good as flush with the K-mount or have optical elements in it to compensate. I don't know if any such adapter exists.

That would be C/Y mount. The OP is asking about Contax N, which has a register of 48mm. It is also electronically controlled, like Canon EF, so is not adaptable.

Thanks! I didn't realize that Contax switched mount with the 'N'!

C/Y You need to change the lens mount or change the mount on the camera. Contax vs Pentax SLR they are very close to each other. You are able to focus infinity. After all, the difference is like 0.01mm.

If you are talking about Contax G, Good luck, You simply can not.

If you are talking about Contax N, Good luck as well. It's electric controlled lenses.. Don't think you can even do step-down. Unless you don't mind shooting wide open ALL THE TIME.
