K110D Firmware Update for Windows 10

I just got a Pentax K110D with two lenses (50-200mm DA & 18-55mm AL) all in excellent condition for a very low price.
I would like to do the firmware update from version 1.0 to 1.02. I have tried a few times, and was able to download the update, but it would not open on my computer (windows 10) to allow me to extract the fwdc165b.bin file.
Any suggestions???

Right click on the file - pick "Run as administrator".

Right click on the file - pick "Properties" - set compatibility to Windows XP sp3 - then run as administrator

Download the file again - it may be corrupt.

Thanks for the quick reply.
I tried it, but that didn't work.

I just checked and the update is in the form of a .zip archive (I checked here. SLR Pentax K110D.html - PENTAX Photo). If you download that archive, Windows 10 should be able to open it if you just double-click on the Firmware_102.zip. I could and I'm running Windows 10.

As long as the menus default to English I suppose those would be ok to download. Trying to navigate through menus you can't understand to change the default language can be a challenge otherwise.

In Windows 10 when I click on the EXE file downloaded from the Ricoh Japan site (English) Windows tells me the file did not install and asks if I want to try compatibility mode. If I tell it to try compatibility the file extracts correctly - after I confirm that it worked.

I uploaded the EXE, the extracted BIN file and the BIN file ZIPped to my Google Drive. You can download them from there as these are the English versions (same files as from Ricoh Canada English).
