That last one sold. I think posting it here may have been the push it needed. I was going to go buy it but it was gone.

$80 would have been a good deal, if it was clean.

keh has a bgn version for $228, which is ridiculous pricing... compare it to an ex fdn 24/2.8 that they also have, for $139; better pq for less money, although mechanically it just doesn't feel as nice as the k24/2.8 that i had.

You are either completely out of touch with the market value of this lens or are being purposely obtuse.
the o.p. quoted euros? so that's the ebay market that i looked at; every link i posted had a european ebay url.

you on the other hand, posted nothing relevant to where the o.p. is located, and you completely failed to prove that a damaged parts lens can sell for $100, which is what the thread is really about.

gee that's funny, it says that it's a $219.99 finished listing...

i didn't "make you look wrong" there, you did it to yourself, lol... deja vu.

Let us know how it goes. Seems like a good deal. I paid $170 for mine ( I got a really good deal). Average price here in the States is perhaps $225. Yes, they are hard to find.

I got my lens today and tried to disassemble... the ring around the lens group was tight as hell but I managed to unscrew it.
But somehow there are no other screws like in this thread

The lens looks like this... no screws but it seems to have an additional ring. Has anyone an idea how I will get to the first lens group??

Any help deeply appreciated

If you watch carefully you see a little gap in the outer ring. Can this do the trick!?

Please note that you need to read the entire thread. It appears to have enough info despite broken links.

a lens spanner wrench on those two notches looks like it would unscrew the front lens group, but what you want to do is to remove the front piece of glass, how is that held into the lens group?

the photos seem to suggest that there is a round ring holding the front piece of glass in, i've seen that with some minolta lenses, with those lenses you can unscrew the ring from the lens group, it's only hand-tight, and the front piece of glass will fall right out.
