K-3ii + Sigma 70-200 HSM II Exposure Issue in Burst Shooting

Every now and again when shooting in burst mode at maximum fps, one image from the burst will be heavily overexposed. I've only encountered this three times and each time when fitted with a Sigma 70-200mm HSM II and even then only in AF-C mode. Both the DNG and jpg end up being overexposed but the images taken a split second before and after are OK.

Curious as to whether anyone else has experienced this phenomenon?

Sticky aperature on the lens. Probably just barely sticking a little if its only seen in burst mode.

Makes sense. Thanks.

Also explains why it doesn't happen on the slower fps of the K20D.

I've seen this on all my Pentax bodies (K5IIs, K3 and even the K1) and across multiple lenses. IMO, it's a problem inherent to Pentax.

I do see it more often with the Sigma 70-200 because that's what I tend to use for sports too.
