Pentax K7 sticky on/off switch

My Pentax K7 on/off rotating switch has lately become very hard to turn. I need to know if there is a recommended lubricant to try? Silicone based? I'm assuming no petroleum based lubes with the WR seals being rubber. Any ideas?

That is what I did with my K7 after it got doused with chocolate-milk.

I used a drop of olive oil on the switch off my K5. It's been good for a year and no adverse effects noticed.
