K-x no longer can focus to infinity, any lens

Recently, my K-x has stopped being able to focus to infinity. This happens with any lens I have tried -- DA 18-55mm, and manual focus 55mm, 135mm (which have always been nice and sharp at their infinity stop). It's not very far off -- things look ok in the viewfinder, but when zoomed into the resulting images or with live view, it's definitely not as sharp as it used to be. So I suspect that the sensor has gotten knocked around and now sits a bit farther back than it should. It's the same with SR on or off. Is there anything to be done?

The infinity mark on the lens does not always correspond to true infinity. Changes in ambient temperature can cause the actual infinity point to fluctuate over time.

If you're able to manually get the lens to achieve sharp focus while in live view and with a setting other than exactly the infinity mark, then nothing is wrong with the camera. On the other hand, if things look soft, even with the lens stopped down, then your suspicion about the sensor might be right.

Are you able to do manual focus, meaning does this yield different results?

If you have the nerve you can remove the bottom of your camera and there are 3 adjustment screws for the sensor. proceed with caution. having said that did you try manual focus?
