4 way controls problem

Has anyone else had this issue? I have a K3ii. Twice now, recently, I've had an issue where none of the 4 way control option show when I push one of the directions. I don't get the drive mode, the white balance mode, flash mode, or the brightness mode. The screen just stays blank. However, when I bring up the menu screen the controller works fine. I have no problems. removing the battery doesn't help. The only way I've gotten control of it again is to do a factory reset of the settings. This has only happened twice. The first time I thought it was just a fluke but then it happened again. Any idea?

Thanks,
Butch

Press the AF point button, since that toggles the function of the 4 way pad between AF points and the sub-menus.

Thanks Adam! I'll try that if I get it again. I appreciate the help!

HI Adam,

I had the problem again and you were correct. It was because I had the auto focus point set to select. After I changed the focus point to center I was able to access the four way controllers sub menus. Thanks!
