Pentax k1 USB connection

Good day to all. I'm happy with my purchase of the PENTAX K1. However, disappointed that Computer does not see the camera through a data cable. help me

Unless one is attempting a tethered connection, MSC should work for file transfer. Full instructions are on page 87 in the user manual (English). First use on a Windows system may require administrator privilege to install the proper drivers, but once done the camera should show as a removable USB drive.

Tethered operation using PTP (Peer-To-Peer) instructions are on page 88 of the manual.

Does the cable support data (some are power only) and does the cable work with other devices?
