K1 and Rokinon 85mm lens issues.

lezama Site Supporter Join Date: Aug 2011 Location: South Florida Photos: Albums Posts: 31	K1 and Rokinon 85mm lens issues. I have a lovely K1 that I have had for two months. I have a Rokinon 85mm F 1.4 manual focus tele that I have used with my K3 with no issues. I was looking forward to its use with the new K1 as the lens is a Full Frame (FF) lens. The K1 does not record the F opening on the viewfinder and it only takes pictures wide open, at F 1.4. It does not matter if I am shooting in aperture or shutter priority. It also does not matter if the lens is on Auto or in a particular manual aperture setting. I have not updated the K1 yet to the 1.30 software update, but I will soon. Is Ricoh addresseing the disconnect with Rokinon? I also have a FF Tamron that is a fixed F 8 opening that does not communicate with the camera. Any ideas? Thanks in advance!
