Pentax K-S2 slight wobble/play in tilting screen. How to patch up or repair?

Hi guys,

I've got a Pentax K-S2 that seems to have a bit of play in the tilting screen. When extended outward, the screen moves up and down by around 10 degrees each way. This isn't normal when compared to my sister's K-S2 so I was wondering how I might sort this issue out.

Any ideas?

When it's still under warranty, send it in.

It's second hand so warranty repair isn't an option.

factory warranty is still applicable to second hand goods

In the Netherlands it is device bound, not personal. That's probably the way it is in the entire EU since warranty regulations are EU wide. UK is still in the EU, so EU rules apply. They have been written into each countries laws, so even when the UK leaves the EU, the laws will still be there, and you can't just take away peoples rights to warranty, so any legislation change will only affect new sales.
