In color and contrast there's no difference indeed. Perhaps my Sigma it's overexposing. I had a Smc Pentax 35-70 and that lens in front of the sun was terrible: colors washed up, inexistent contrast. Sigma it's doing almost the same job, but not necessarily in front of the sun...
