Originally posted by lauravp77 I am just wondering if I am missing something. I am taking an intermediate level photog class, and the instructor was talking about setting up custom white balance, but my KS-2 doesn't seem to have that option.. I can't imagine why they wouldn't include what sounds like such a simple option. I know you can just correct white balance in pp, but it would be nice to get it right in camera, and sometimes the best option is to use an 18% grey card.
Yeah, the WB menu on the K-S2 is like just like on the other recent Pentax models. Accessible directly via the 4-way pad.
Of course, it's best to shoot in RAW so you can retroactively fiddle with the white balance.
