645Z & SMC PENTAX - FA 645 ZOOM 1:4.5 80 - 160 mm

Hi all,

I have just bought the lens mentioned in the title as it was posted as auto & manual focus lens. I can see the focusing screw inside the lens mount and also I can see the screw on the body inside the mount. However, the lens does not focus automatically and on the display is shown MF for manual focus. There is no AF/MF switch on the lens and I cannot find any option to enable such focusing in the camera menu.

Does the lens do autofocus with the 645Z body and the lens is broken, or this combination just don't have autofocus option?

its a push-pull AF/MF Focusing Ring, no switch

Once I bought a lens advertised as "the autofocus doesn't work" and it turned out to be the confusion of the push-pull AF engagement.
