In terms of focus, the focusing screen in K-S2 is not optimized for MF lenses. It seems in focus on the screen, but maybe it is not. try using LV to confirm focus.
Also check the adapter, and make sure the adapter does not have or cause decenter.
I will stick with mirrorless cameras for FD lenses.
Live view was similar - Actually it was kind of fuzzy in LV when I magnified, but the picture was really blurry.
I've re-seated the lens in the adapter several times and it's the same, so I guess I won't be using the FD lenses (I have two, including an f/1.2) with my Pentaxes.
